Our strategy focuses on the strengthening and the expansion of our market positions in order to maintain competitiveness. In addition, sustainability and sustainable success is an essential factor in ensuring our future viability and hence the continued business success.

The SSC in Bucharest, DB Schenker Global Services Europe, is the first service center location of the group providing services to all international Divisions. With a strong growth plan over the next few years for accounting related business support services we specifically focus on employee involvement and participation as well as offer significant opportunities for individual career growth. Since we started our journey in autumn 2014 we have seen substantial development of our employees who have chosen to develop their career by moving to other functions within or outside their respective processes, between countries, to enabling functions, transitions, project management, and even to one of our customer operations in Western Europe.

In line with our corporate strategy DB2020 and with the continuous expansion of our capabilities we are also looking at potentials of including other, non-accounting related, activities into the service scope of the SSC in Bucharest. Therefore whoever joins DB Schenker will have a job like no other!
