Mădălina Racovițan – Partner, Head of People Services KPMG Romania

Mădălina Racovițan is a Partner of KPMG in Romania and Head of the firm’s People Services practice.

Mădălina joined KPMG in 1999. She has developed KPMG’s Global Mobility Services practice over several years and further set-up the People Services function in Romania. The People Services practice now combines the teams of Global Mobility, Immigration Services, Payroll Outsourcing, Employment Law and Human Resources Advisory, who work together to help clients with many different issues related to the management of their human capital.

Mădălina has a strong interest in the Future of Work topic, leading client assignments which aim to assist organizations and their HR functions in navigating throughout the 21st century challenges. She is an active member of various workgroups, proposing a variety of suggestions and lobby actions for improving the fiscal, immigration and employment framework in Romania.


Claudia Stan – Senior Manager, People Services KPMG Romania

Claudia is a senior HR professional, with mixed HR practitioner and consulting background, acquired after working for more than 19 years in the HR area.

She has experience in complex transformation projects as well as operational HR assistance. Her key areas of expertise include Talent Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, HR transformation and organizational development.

She holds national accreditations as trainer and project manager as well as certification in international occupational testing methodologies. She is also a frequent contributor to specialized publications and active speaker at conferences and events on Future of Work and HR, Performance Management and Organisational development.


Crina Ilie, People Function Leader, Europe, Genpact

With over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources, Crina is passionate about the fundamental transformations happening in the field of talent identification and development, the way organizations redefine concepts such as organizational culture, learning, retention & commitment and performance management. Crina is fascinated by how diversity, work ethic and digitalization influence the HR business and function and she gladly shares her professional experience gained in Europe and America where she has led global HR functions for Genpact.

She is currently leading People Function for Genpact Europe and her previous roles included the role of HR Director for Regina Maria and more than 10 years’ experience in human resources consulting.


Ecaterina Ion – General Manager, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Bucharest Center,

Country HR Leader

A creative and enthusiastic human resource practitioner, a passionate and accomplished leader. Ecaterina’s life has been equally divided between the professional human resources and general business management and the great enjoyment of growing a family. Her intense multicultural international experiences and academic background (anthropology, psychology and business management) make for a unique and stimulating approach to all that she does.

Ecaterina has over 20 years of HR experience, covering area such as labour, compliance and ethics, training and development, HR communication and general management. Her professional projects include industries like: Banking, Telecom, IT and Pharma. She has extensive experience with merger, acquisition and divestiture projects.

She joined Hewlett Packard as the HR Country manager for Romania in January, 2008. Two years later she took over the HR Leadership for the South-Eastern Europe region. In 2015 Ecaterina has been appointed as the first female general manager of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Bucharest Centre, leading an amazing, talented and engaged workforce, who is competing as one of the most attractive employers in the market.


Irina Butnaru – Delivery Director – Europe HR Services Business Group & Romania Country Lead – Conduent

Irina Butnaru joined Conduent in June 2006, being part of the transformation from XLWorld to Xerox and Conduent, as a Team Leader for one of the most important clients in Romania at the time.

She was shortly appointed Project Manager for the same client. In 2012 she became Chief of Staff for Europe COO coordinating innovation, acquisitions, marketing, and operations for all the business groups in Europe, for Xerox Services Division. With educational background in social sciences, she then joined the HR Outsourcing Business Group in Europe, leading the end to end service, from negotiation to delivery. Irina covers coordination of the centers in Iasi, Lodz, Almere, Bangalore, Birmingham and Manila.

Irina’s portfolio clients are major global players in Forbes 500, helping them for over five years to earn and maintain major titles in human capital management.

At 36 years, in November 2017, she has also taken on the role of Conduent Romania Country Lead, being in charge of country’s alignment to the corporate policies and strategy of the company.


Madalina Stoian – HR Manager

Microsoft Romania

Madalina is a Senior HR Manager with great passion for people and achieving success through them, inspiring, empowering and leading change in multinational organizations for more than 10 years now.

Growing with Microsoft since 2013, she is driving cultural and organizational change with great focus on diversity and inclusiveness, showing care and empathy while partnering with business for success.

As of 2018 she is HR Manager for Customer Service Support organization for approx. 1000 employees, engaging with all levels of leadership and employees in making sure the listening mechanisms are effectively functioning. Therefore, leading to create the right set-up for being brave and try new approaches, new ways of working and collaborating together.

Even more, in this different context of reality, employees’ wellness is her top of mind, constantly striving to drive individual balance as this is essential also to keep up the satisfaction and meaning of work. These are essential for the performance culture.
