My name is Simona Nae and I am the Senior Sales Manager for the BPO division within TotalSoft.

In my work, I focus on providing companies with the best solutions for cutting operational costs, reduce risks and increase overall productivity by outsourcing some of their operations. The BPO division includes over 70 people and we all take great pride in our long-term partnerships with our clients, some of them working with us for more than 10 years.

How did you start your career? Which were your first steps? How did you envision your career?

I started my career in early 1999 at Romanian Data Systems, one of the most important carriers of TV and Internet & VOIP. It was a starting point in an industry.

What were your key career moments (those that had an impact on your professional journey)?

The Vodafone period was the most intense and, in a way, guided me towards the BPO business.

What is the best three most valuable career lessons you have learned?

Beside the professional abilities and knowledge, I believe the most important lessons I’ve learned in my career refer to three values: Trust, Integrity, Continuous Personal Development.

Why did you choose Business Service Industry? What were top 3 reasons for choosing Total Soft?

I love my job because I face each time completely different situations, so it feels like I’m doing something new for each customer. On the other hand, TotalSoft was a pioneer in this industry, and 10 years ago was among the very few who provided outsourcing services at an enterprise level.

Today, TotalSoft provides a unique set of BPO services that includes, in addition to standard HR & Finance processes, digitalization according to GDPR requirements, and integration with electronic signature. Another differentiator is that we can provide all these services using our own software platforms or other platforms used by the customer. Because of that, we can provide digitalization services to more than standard BPO, for example recording invoices, reconciling payments and costs at the customer level, or entering employee data.

What are your/your company’s plans for 2020?

To further digitalize HR & Financial processes. We already implemented a chatbot that can substantially improve internal processes and we focus on implementing the new feature of electronic signatures in outsourced workflows.

What do you think would be the keywords of the year for managers in the Business Services industry? Automation? Cutting costs?

I like sport and I dedicate a lot of time reading about science.

If you were starting now your career, knowing the present and near future opportunities, what would you do? What career would you pursue?

I wouldn’t change anything.

Be smart and develop yourself. Learning is the most important and needs to be done continuously.
