Schenker Global Business Services (SGBS) is a shared service centre for DB Schenker, offering accounting excellence services and international logistics supporting activities. SGBS has grown over the last years to gradually include processes that range from accounting (payable, receivable, general ledger) to international logistics support, sales, master data management or claims. The processes are conducted in a professional, standardized and automated way.
SGBS, as an organization, consists of a global steering unit and two hubs, one in Bucharest and one in Manila, where the actual service operations take place. SGBS acts as a platform for functions and products of DB Schenker to bring transactional tasks and back office activities together.
