Our global footprint allows us to serve all geographies in all required time zones.
Linde Global Services currently provides services to 61 Linde countries out of three captive (Linde-owned) centers, with further processes outsourced to IBM and Capgemini. Our three captive centers are located in Manila (Philippines), Timisoara (Romania) and Porto (Portugal) and together with the BPO centers employ roughly 1,300 FTEs.
A hybrid delivery model
Under the LGS umbrella, we provide services from both captive and outsourced shared service centers. A captive center refers to a center that it staffed by Linde employees who perform agreed tasks on behalf of business users in a range of countries (referred to as the “retained organization”).
At LGS, we have chosen a hybrid model, meaning that we have not taken a 100% captive centre approach, nor a 100% BPO approach. One of the advantages of this decision is the healthy exchange and sharing of best practices while keeping critical, client-facing processes in house.
