The SSC in Bucharest, DB Schenker Global Services Europe, is the European service center location of the group providing services to all international Divisions. With a strong growth plan over the next few years for accounting related as well as operational business support services we specifically focus on employee involvement and participation as well as offer significant opportunities for individual career growth. Since we started our journey in autumn 2014 we have seen substantial development of our employees who have chosen to develop their careers by moving to other functions within or outside their respective processes, between countries, to and from enabling functions, transitions, project management or even global functions that have in the last year newly been established in Bucharest.
In line with our corporate strategy DB2020 and with the continuous expansion of our capabilities we have also started to include other non-accounting related activities (e.g. logistic business processes such as pricing) in the service scope of the SSC in Romania.
