Objectives:

  • Provide strong and reliable information to ABSL members and business community
  • Raise ABSL profile at national & international level
  • Improving the Labour legislative framework in Romania
  • Transforming Business environment in Romania by improving knowledge sharing in the HR area in the industry

Main Projects:

  • ABSL & PwC Annual Industry Report
  • Non-financial benefits for employees
  • Include a COR & CAEN codes for the industry – work with the Government to include these legal measures

How you can contribute:

  • Offer your data for ABSL & PwC Annual Report – This report will be presented at the ABSL Annual Conference
  • Give suggestions to improve ABSL & PwC Annual Report
  • Get involved in benchmarking opportunities
  • Attend events on HR topics

Knowledge Sharing

Catalina Elena Crisan (UniCredit ) & Ciprian Dan (Wipro)

Objectives:

  • Enhancing industry principles and objectives
  • Inspire excellence and lead the way in Business excellence, Innovation, CSR and Education

Main Projects:

  • Knowledge Sharing events: expertise sharing events of small/medium size, hosted by member companies
  • Partners’ events: learn from the experts about latest trends; great chance to meet your peers
  • Networking – informal gatherings for relationship building

How you can contribute:

  • Propose knowledge sharing events. Members can request events on themes of interest for the community
  • Attend knowledge sharing events. Delegate your representatives to actively participate and gain knowledge from the community
  • Networking (Informal Business Mixer – meeting the members and share ideas, and hopes)

Investor Relations

Nicoleta Apetrei (Societe Generale Global Solution Centre) & Bogdan Pelinescu (Luxoft)

Objectives:

  • Promoting Romania as a Business Services destination
  • Develop and deepen cooperation with authorities (DPIIS)

Main Projects:

  • Romania as an Outsourcing Destination – ABSL Brochure with information from our reports and strategic partners, with ABSL branding, distributed to future and potential investors

How you can contribute:

  • Promote Business Leaders in the market/ industry/ events
  • Promote representatives of the industry during events, campaigns, etc, thus improving members’ visibility

PR & Government Relations

Cătălin Iorgulescu (Deloitte Audit)

Objectives:

  • Promotion campaigns for the Outsourcing Industry, ABSL’s initiatives and projects
  • Events organisation and meetings with ABSL’s stakeholders
  • Monitoring the legislative changes which affects the business services sector and express the association’s point of view

Main Projects:

  • Active participation in ABSL`s campaigns
  • Promoting the business leaders of the market/industry/events

How you can contribute:

  • Promote Business Leaders in the market/ industry/ events – promote representatives of the industry during events, campaigns, etc, thus improoving members’ visibility

Education

Anca Fotache (Booking), Francesca Postolache (PwC) & Adrian Baron (Stefanini)

Objectives:

  • Transform and adapt the Romanian Educational System accordingly to the business environment
  • Improve the Quality of labour force for the Business Services Industry

Main Projects:

  • Master Business Services programme in partnership with Bucharest University of Economic Studies and Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems
  • ABSL Academy – GO/NO GO DECISION
  • New partnerships with education institutions, NGOs, other partners, including in 2nd tier cities
  • Open Doors for Students and for Teachers

How you can contribute:

  • ABSL Academy – 3 months certification for future employees in the industry – affirm your interest and contribution in starting such a project
  • Open Doors for Students – 1 session in November – send us your interest / availability
  • Open Doors for Professors – 1 session in November – engaging Professors and keeping them updated on the latest trends and topics for the interest; send us your interest / availability

Communication and services for members

Objectives:

  • Increase local presence
  • Build awareness and Trust in ABSL membership and services
  • Increase ABSL visibility as industry representative
  • Attract new members

Main Projects:

  • Attend/Organise Business Mixers:
  • Develop Local Chapters that can run themselves, with periodical events
  • Participate to ABSL Awards Gala
  • Send us your suggestions: subjects / themes of interest/ speakers
  • Offer resources in organising the conference: helping hands, providers/other resources
  • Sponsor the conference and Gala Awards
