Objectives:

  • Enhance Industry dialogue and collaboration
  • Provide strong and reliable information to ABSL members and business community
  • Raise ABSL profile at national & international level
  • Improving the Labour legislative framework in Romania
  • Transforming Business environment in Romania by improving knowledge sharing in the HR area in the industry

Main Projects:

  • ABSL & KPMG Annual Industry Report
  • Non-financial benefits for employees
  • Include a COR & CAEN codes for the industry – work with the Government to include these legal measures

How you can contribute:

  • 7th ABSL & KPMG Annual Report – Provide input from your company by filling in the questionnaire; Project to start in May 2019
  • Attend the event Teleworking: recognizing and mitigating the legal risks – powered by Fine Law

Knowledge Sharing

Bogdan Barbu (Unicredit Services) & Dan Ciprian (Wipro)

Objectives:

  • Enhance Industry dialogue and collaboration
  • Inspire excellence and lead the way in Business excellence, Innovation, CSR and Education

Main Projects:

  • Knowledge Sharing events: Professional Corner – expertise sharing events of small/medium size, hosted by member companies
  • Networking – informal gatherings for relationship building

Investor Relations

Bogdan Pelinescu (Luxoft Romania) & Dragoș Ștefan (Stefanini)

Objectives:

  • Promoting Romania as a Business Services destination
  • Develop and deepen cooperation with authorities (DPIIS)

Main Projects:

  • Romania as an Outsourcing Destination – ABSL Brochure with information from our reports and strategic partners, with ABSL branding, distributed to future and potential investors

How you can contribute:

  • Promote Business Leaders in the market/ industry/ events
  • Promote representatives of the industry during events, campaigns, etc, thus improving members’ visibility

PR & Government Relations

Cătălin Iorgulescu (Samsung SSCE) & Bogdan Pelinescu (Luxoft Romania)

Objectives:

  • Promotion campaigns for the Outsourcing Industry, ABSL’s initiatives and projects
  • Events organisation and meetings with ABSL’s stakeholders
  • Monitoring the legislative changes which affects the business services sector and express the association’s point of view

Main Projects:

  • Active participation in ABSL`s campaigns
  • Promoting the business leaders of the market/industry/events

How you can contribute:

  • Promote Business Leaders in the market/ industry/ events – promote representatives of the industry during events, campaigns, etc, thus improoving members’ visibility

Education

Dragoș Ștefan (Stefanini) & Francesca Postolache (PwC)

Objectives:

  • Transform and adapt the Romanian Educational System accordingly to the business environment
  • Improve the Quality of labour force for the Business Services Industry

Main Projects:

How you can contribute:

  • Business Services Master – 2nd edition
  • Send us the number of students you commit to support financially their tuition fee / to employ (30 spots open for the ABSL member companies), by June 2018
  • ABSL Academy – 3 months certification for future employees in the industry – affirm your interest and contribution in starting such a project
  • Open Doors for Students – 1 session in November – send us your interest / availability
  • Open Doors for Professors – 1 session in November – engaging Professors and keeping them updated on the latest trends and topics for the interest; send us your interest / availability

Communication and services for members

Objectives:

  • Increase local presence
  • Build awareness and Trust in ABSL membership and services
  • Increase ABSL visibility as industry representative
  • Attract new members

Main Projects:

  • Business Mixer events (best practice events of medium/large size in local communities)
  • ABSL Awards Gala
  • ABSL Annual Conference

How you can contribute:

  • Attend/Organise Business Mixers:
  • Develop Local Chapters that can run themselves, with periodical events
  • 4th ABSL Awards Gala 10th April 2019
  • Contribute your suggestions for the subjects / themes of interest/speakers; survey will be sent shortly
  • Offer resources in organising the conference: helping hands, providers/other resources
  • Sponsor the conference and location for Gala Awards; packages to be sent shortly
