ACCA, COS, HAYS, JLL and KPMG, our Strategic Partners, each of them experts in their field of activity, offered insights on how the trends in 2018 will affect the Outsourcing industry in Romania. Thus, we are witnessing new technology opportunities and the growing presence of automated systems in financial and accounting services, new recruitment models focused on Finding & Engaging candidates, as well as predicting the candidates’ likely interest in a role. Another topic tackled was the impact of work-space types on employee satisfaction, retention, attraction and productivity. More than that, studies show that employee engagement positively correlates with Workplace satisfaction.
During our panel discussion themed “Fast-growing Cluj-Napoca: what next?”, members from our community shared their opinion on the challenges in Cluj-Napoca regarding the outsourcing sector, talent pool, real estate and investments in the last months, as well as ways to move forward. With the city rising among other major cities in Romania, people also wanted to know what are the competitive advantages compared to other cities similar in size, which were the most innovative projects developed by companies and how do phenomenons registered on the Labor, Real Estate and other relevant sectors are correlated.
The event was concluded with a dynamic workshop, where participants with extensive expertise in various fields worked together in groups in order to identify challenges within the activity they perform in the business services sector, and proposed valuable solutions to help the industry move forward.
The main achievement was the teamwork demonstrated by the participants in formulating actionable solutions to help employees stay motivated and ahead of technological developments, and bring innovation into business models.
