Get to know our Romanian Office – Goodyear Operations Romania
In Romania, the Goodyear office has grown into one of the most dynamic and mature operational centers since its establishment in 2011. As Goodyear has accelerated its global optimization initiatives, the team in Romania has evolved into a strategic partner, transitioning to a mature operating model where multiple teams are functionally integrated and work seamlessly together to deliver end-to-end value at both regional and global levels.
With headquarters in Bucharest, the center brings together expertise in Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Procurement, Fleet Services, HR, Legal, and IT, actively involved in operations at a regional and global level. Our diverse talent, approximately 800 associates, with Romanian team members and expats who decided to develop their career here, is the foundation of a cultural enriched environment.
We’re proud to actively being involved with local NGOs, and our associates seek out valuable ways to positively impact their communities throughout the year. Our efforts are centered around 3 pillars:

We develop, manufacture, distribute and sell tires for most applications. Across our brands, we offer all the benefits today’s drivers are looking for, from innovative technology and performance handling to all-weather reliability and durability. From high-performance tires that grace the rims of the latest generation of supercars to all-weather tires that deliver traction in many weather conditions for a family SUV, our OEM (original equipment manufacturer) agreements mean more new cars wear Goodyear tires from the factory to the showroom, to the road.
We are also one of the world’s largest operators of commercial truck service and tire retreading centers.
Get to know our heritage
Racing is part of our DNA, and Goodyear is the official tire and exclusive tire provider for World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series, World Touring Car Championship, NASCAR, NHRA and the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship. We also produce racing tires for a range of motorsports, including drag, short track, motorcycle, and sports car racing.
Celebrating over a century in the sky, The Goodyear Blimp is an icon in motion. From its earliest days (Goodyear’s Pilgrim was the first commercial non-rigid airship flown using helium in 1925) to unforgettable moments above (we had the first airship in the world to carry a lighted sign) the blimp’s story spans generations. Today, the Goodyear Blimp is a faithful guardian to motorsport skies and plays a significant role in our missions to support communities across the world. From donating blimp ride certificates to non-profit organizations for fundraising efforts to hosting our annual Toys for Tots event, the Goodyear Blimp symbolizes our commitment to giving back.
