Procter & Gamble in Romania

Procter & Gamble founded its first office and operation in Romania (Bucharest) in 1994. Throughout these past 25 years, Procter & Gamble Romania’s business and footprint has grown considerably, supported by the intentional investment in and development of three main business activities: (1) Sales & Marketing for South East Europe markets, (2) Shared Services Center founded in 2006 and processing $17 Billion in spend across >85 P&G offices and >100 countries in Europe (and partially worldwide), and (3) Product manufacturing and export activities (supported by the Urlati / Prahova Beauty Care county plant built in 2008, 2nd largest Procter & Gamble Shampoo production site globally).

Today, P&G Romania counts more than 700 employees, and continues striving to build a stable, long-term successful business. Demonstrated by the high quality of its people, its partnership with other Romanian companies and academia, and its commitment towards and positive impact on the community to actively look for new meaningful ways to improve everyone’s lives and to be a force of good and a force of growth – now and for future generations.
